An angry Rottweiler dog bit an innocent toddler barely Two years old in the street in Rawmarsh, Rotherham District in the UK. First the little girl was rushed to the Rotherham District General Hospital and later shifted to the Sheffield Children’s Hospital for better treatment.
Quite shockingly, and hopefully coincidentally (not as retaliation) this Rottweiler dog attack on a little child took place in a public area on the same day the UK govt. decided that owners of all attacking dogs would face life sentence. I must say, the law didn’t come a day early!
The girl (whose identity has been concealed for privacy and avoiding media hassle) is said to be stable and recovering now. The Rottweiler from Rotherham has been sent to a secure kennel until the investigation into the canine attack is over.
While the savage attack was not life-threatening ultimately, it reinforces the Government’s decision to curb more attacks by imposing life term in jail for these dog owners who endanger public safety.
